Simon Says Stamp Haul 6/2012

Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a great weekend so far. I worked this morning in clinic and was able to get some paperwork/administrative issues finished. This made it possible to sit in my craft room this afternoon and CRAFT!
I am working on a 4th of July banner this weekend and will post pictures once it is completed.

I did get my order from Simon Says Stamp (SSS) online store this week! Yay! I have been buying more 6 x 6 paper pads/packs since I am making more cards. I also use them to make 4 x 6 filler cards and journaling cards from the small papers for my Project Life album.

On this SSS haul, I bought some Lawn Fawn stamps that I have been wanting plus some of the new ones that just came out.

"Sunny Skies" is a great set - has very cute clouds and flying kites that are popular right now. The set also comes with cute little smiley faces to add to the clouds.
"You've got mail" is a fairly new one as well but not a recent new one. I have been wanting this set for a few months now - it has been sitting in my cart for awhile :)
"Happy Summer" was really cute too so had to buy. I mostly bought it for the Happy Summer sentiment.
"Hello Friend" stamp set is an old set but love the sentiments. They will work great for friendship cards.

Also bought a Hero Arts/Basic Grey stamp set that coordinates with the Basic Grey "PB&J" line. Just received the paper pad 2 weeks ago which has great patterns.

Hope to make a summer card or layout soon using the patterned papers and stamp set.
Look for it in a P&P Creations post near you :)

Anyway, I also bought alphabet stickers from the Jillibean soup line in many colors. I am trying to get as many alphabet sticker sets as I can now that I am involved with Project Life.

Other items in my haul also includes label stickers from My Mind's Eye (MME). I actually bought all available ones at SSS as these also work well with Project Life.

I also found these cute wooden pennant embellishments by MME and just had to buy them :)

Last but not least - all the 6 x 6 paper pads! You name it, I bought it :)
Jillibean soup, My Mind's Eye, Simple Stories, Authentique and even Lawn Fawn's new paper line. I actually was not a big fan of the Lawn Fawn paper but after seeing it used in several projects, I knew I had to get it.

I did not include all the paper pads I bought in the picture. If my husband saw all the paper I bought, he would not be happy :)

Don't worry guys - he would not really get mad. He just thinks I am crazy for buying all this stuff :)

Well anyway, as soon as I finish my 4th of July banner, I will post it here.

Have a great evening everyone! Off to my TV room to watch "Singin' in the Rain" with the hubby. He is on a  mission to watch every movie on the AFI Top 100 list that he has not seen yet and this movie is the first one.
