Girlie Chat Card

Hi everyone! Ana here at P&P Creations with another card. Sorry, I did not have that much time this weekend to sit in my craft room and be creative. This weekend though I did meet up with my good friends Amy, Melissa, and Delma - these girls and I go way back! All the way back to high school! Hanging out with good friends inspired me to make a quick girlie card this evening.

I LOVE Papertrey Ink and their clear stamps!  They have a new series that has been out over the last few months called Heart 2 Heart. The first set really has a cute coffee theme to it. Who does not love to get coffee with their girlfriends and just chat!

Here is my card/project for the week:

This week's card is very simple. Card base measures 4.25 x 5.5 and is made using PTI dark chocolate cardstock. My patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket "Social Club" 6 x 6 pad. I actually bought this paper pad at Two Peas a few months ago on sale - love the colors!

For my stamps and die cuts, I used PTI "Heart2Heart #1" clear stamps and matching die. I cut the patterned paper first using my die cut and then stamped the shape. I added the middle section of the coffee cup to break up the polka dots pattern. To create the middle section, I stamped the image on regular white cardstock and then cut out the shape. Adhered it was 3D foam dots.

For the small banners, I also used PTI double edged banner die and just rounded the edges. The sentiments also come from the "Heart2Heart #1" stamp set.

I should of really made the card smaller as my stamped image and banners are a little small for regular A2 sized card but oh well :)

Still love it - now who should I send it too?

Actually made this card in less than an hour - Wow! Can you believe it?

Thanks Amy, Melissa and Delma! It was great hanging out with you ladies and catching up!
Don't forget about our 20 year high school reunion next year - Yikes! Where does the time go?
