I am still working on my blog since I am new to the blogging world :) Finally figured out how to link my Pinterest account to my blog. I have some other cards I have made in the last 12 months up on my Pinterest board called Ana'a creations.
Anyway, as promised here are pictures of the cards that I made earlier this month for Mother's Day. One is for my mother and the other card is for my Tia Tina (aunt) in Mexico. I made these on time but have been too lazy to place in a padded envelope to mail.
I received my inspiration for my mother's card from a magazine or card book but for the life of me I can not remember which one. I used patterned paper from Echo Park's "Victoria Gardens" 6x6 paper pad. Card base is made from PTI Berry Sorbet cardstock. I made the little roll up flowers using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. I love my Cricut! I will also be posting Cricut creations on my blog - just an FYI. The die-cut was also from one of my many Cricut cartridges but do not remember which one :)
Sentiment is from PTI Fillable Frames #4 stamp set.
My aunt's card is a little different. I did not want to use the flower theme over again. I had just received Pink Paislee's "Prairie Hill" patterned papers and was excited to use them in a card. Love the combination of colors in the collection! I actually used papers from the 6x6 pad. Card base was made using PTI Kraft cardstock. I made the clouds using my PTI cloud dies. The kite is actually a sticker that coordinates with the Prairie Hill collection. I used my EK success powder tool to take off the adhesive backing. I adhered the kite with foam dots for the "pop out" look. Sentiment is also from PTI Fillable Frames #4 stamp set. You may notice the edging of the papers and die cuts -- I used my Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen to highlight the edges.
Hope you enjoyed my cards. I made these with love for the women in my life that have most inspired me. Las quiero mucho!
Ana
