12 x 12 Layouts - October Afternoon and Studio Calico

Hi Everyone! Having a great cold weekend? It is CHILLY here in Houston but a good start to our Holiday season! Halloween is right around the corner - Yay!
This year my doggies will be dressing as different Crayola crayon colors - they look so cute in their costumes. They hate it of course :)
I will post some pictures after our Halloween night.

For this week, I worked on some 12 x 12 scrapbook layouts.

I am having a hard time getting started once again on my Project Life album and getting my cruise pictures in the there.

I also plan to work on a mid-week project and post it here.
I also want to start including more Cricut projects as I have so many cartridges that I have not put to use.
What I may do is make a card for the mid-week project and do layout vs Project life for the weekend. We will see how it turns out.

My friend and colleague Amie came by this weekend for a craft day yesterday. It was great having her around and showing her all my different scrapbooking/cardmaking stuff!
She herself has started making cards too....the card bug is going around :)


On to my first layout for this week. It is using a picture from last Halloween in 2011. Peaches was a puppy and smaller than Patrick. She is now a big 60 lb brown lug full of love!
I dressed them both as pirates. I really wanted to find a parrot costume for Peaches since she was small but no luck.

The minute I saw the Witch Hazel collection from October Afternoon, I knew that it would be the perfect patterned papers to use for this layout.
Aren't my doggies so cute in their pirate costumes!

My next layout is about my niece's High school graduation back in May 2011. We went to Baton Rouge to help her celebrate and cheer her on.
It was so sad for me as I remember when she was the cutest little baby. Time goes by so fast and now she is young woman in college studying to be a chemical engineer. Very proud of her! Way to go Carolina!

I finally started using my Studio Calico October Kit called "Roller Rink". I need to keep using it as I just ordered the November kit with an add-on which will be here in 2 weeks to start using - Yikes!

I wish I could take a week off work to continue to scrapbook :)

I have another Two Peas haul coming in this week. Since it is Halloween on Wednesday, I may just do that for the mid-week project and take pics of my haul. I did purchase some really cute stuff.

My scrapbook spending may need to come to a halt for now. I need to focus on my house and getting some furniture. Also need to get my landscaping done.
It will be hard but will try my best.
