Hello card

Hi everyone! I hope your weekend has been great so far. The Anstee's are having a LAZY weekend and we love it!

Ana here with P&P Creations and for this week's project, I made a card for my good friend Amy.

Amy and I have been friends since high school and let me tell ya, she's a KEEPER! She is just an all-around great lady! I am very lucky to have her as my friend.

She actually lives about 5 miles from me but I don't get to see her that often or at least as often as I would like.

I made this card for her just to say "Hello" and how much I appreciate her friendship.

Here is my card:

I have been wanting to use the Everyday Button Bits stamp set from Papertrey Ink since I bought it 3 months ago :)

It is a great way to use buttons on my cards. The patterned paper is from Echo Park's "For the Record" collection which is an oldie but goodie.
In fact, Echo Park is coming out with new "For the Record 2" this fall and can't wait to get my hands on those collections!

My card base measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 (standard A2 size) and made using Kraft cardstock from Papertrey Ink.

I used cardstock stickers that came with the paper collection as the base of the tree and then added the buttons. I used my glue dots to stick the buttons on the stickers.
Added some foam squares to give it that "pop up" effect.

Amy, I hope you enjoy your card and will be mailing it off soon. Love you girlie!

I am working on a layout for my Project Life album currently. I am following a layout sketch as part of another Saturday weekly challenge at Two Peas in a Bucket.
Once I am done, I will post it here so please stay tuned later this week to check it out!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my card.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Ana
